DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION

We believe our greatest strength lies in our people. Every member of our team brings unique experiences, perspectives, and talents that enrich our culture and strengthen our projects.

Diversity, equity, and inclusion are more than corporate principles; they are commitments that guide our decisions, relationships, and the way we create opportunities for everyone.

WOMEN OF COURAGE

The engineering and construction industry has historically been a masculinized space. We decided to be agents of change: we actively promote equality and equity for women at all levels of our organization. We prioritize the involvement of women heads of household in the sectors with direct influence on our projects, recognizing not only technical talent but also a determination and resilience that transform entire teams.

We work day by day to remain an inclusive, equitable and safe workplace. Our purpose is to increase the participation of women in the labor force, in specialized technical positions and in leadership positions, ensuring conditions that facilitate their entry and stay in the industry, with balance between personal and work life, and spaces where gender-based violence and harassment are actively prevented

Priority

Women heads of household In the processes of selection of areas of influence for our projects, we prioritize the involvement of women who are sole heads of their family nucleus, recognizing their fundamental social and economic role.

Female labour in industry

We train, certify and promote techniques and professionals in the areas of construction, electricity, industrial maintenance and equipment operation, eliminating historical access barriers.

High-potential female leadership

We identify and support the development of women with high potential towards supervisory, coordination and technical leadership roles, with structured career plans and specialized mentoring.

Safe and violence-free spaces

We implemented clear protocols for the prevention and care of harassment and gender-based violence in all our work areas, with confidential reporting channels and immediate response guaranteed.

OPEN DOORS

We see talent. Period. Regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, physical condition, age, origin or belief, what we seek is the ability, commitment and willingness to build together. Our goal is to be a workspace for all people, free from prejudices, stereotypes and artificial constraints that prevent the flourishing of human talent.

We recognize and celebrate the diversity of gender identities and sexual orientations within our teams. Every person has the right to a work environment where they can be authentic, develop their career with dignity and receive the same treatment, opportunities and respect as anyone else in our organization.

Gender identity and expression

We respect each person’s gender identity and ensure that all internal processes, communications and work environments are in line with that identity.
Sexual orientation

Sexual orientation

The sexual orientation of our team members has no effect on their job opportunities, performance evaluations or working conditions.

Ethnic and cultural diversity

We value the wealth that different cultures, backgrounds and communities bring to our teams and promote intercultural understanding as an organizational advantage.

Inclusion of persons with disabilities

We develop accessible and adapted working conditions so that people with disabilities can integrate, grow and contribute their talents without barriers.

INCLUSIVE CULTURE

We adopt a language that recognizes and makes visible all people, avoiding expressions that exclude or invisibilize genders, identities or diverse conditions in all our internal and external communications.

Our selection processes are designed to evaluate only talent, experience and skills, eliminating criteria that may lead to direct or indirect discrimination.

Equal pay

We ensure that pay gaps by gender, sexual orientation or any other identity condition are identified, corrected and prevented on an ongoing basis.

Dignity in every interaction

We expect all people in our organization to treat their colleagues, customers and suppliers with unconditional respect, valuing diversity of origin, experience and identity.

Training and awareness

We develop continuous training programs in diversity, equity and inclusion for leaders and teams, building a conscious and committed organizational culture.

Confidential complaint channel

We have secure and confidential mechanisms for anyone to report discrimination, harassment or violence, with guaranteed follow-up and timely response.

OUR COMMITMENT

“At ICONADCOL we build structures of steel and concrete, but we also build something more important: organizations where every person, regardless of gender, identity, origin or orientation, has a dignified place, safe and full of opportunities. That’s what it means to be ICONADCOL.”
